On May 12, 2017, the Muzzy Ranch will host attendees from the National Mitigation and Ecosystem Banking Conference for a site visit and field trip.  The bank is one of the remaining natural high quality native vernal pool/grassland complexes in the Jepson Praire.  It is home to many rare and endangered species and home to 12 playa pools, including one that covers 22 acres. With the native wildflowers will be in bloom.

The Muzzy Ranch provided wetland creation and CTS upland credits to support the construction of the new Jepson Parkway Project, a reliever route to allow travelers to bypass portions of Highway 80 between Fairfield and Vacaville.  Construction has commenced and is due to be completed in early 2018.
